infinidysk (formerly [NzbDAV](https://www.infinidysk.com/v1/community/renaming-to-infinidysk/)) is a **WebDAV server** that mounts NZB documents as a browsable virtual filesystem. Content streams on demand from your Usenet provider. A **SABnzbd-compatible API** lets Sonarr and Radarr use it as a download client, so you can build a large media library without storing full files on disk.

<Image src={overview} alt="infinidysk 1.x overview dashboard showing throughput, provider activity and active streams" class="screenshot" loading="eager" />

**Stable, bug fixes only:** 1.x is the stable release. It gets bug fixes only; new features go into 2.x, which is in alpha. See [What's new in 2.x](https://www.infinidysk.com/v2/whats-new/).

## How it works

Your Arr instances add infinidysk as a SABnzbd download client, but it never downloads the release. Work happens at two moments:

<HowItWorks
	steps={[
		{
			title: 'When Sonarr or Radarr grabs a release',
			nodes: [
				['Sonarr, Radarr', 'Send the NZB over the SABnzbd API'],
				['infinidysk', 'Reads the NZB and the first article of each file'],
				['WebDAV', 'The files appear, without a full download'],
				['Library', 'The Arr imports a symlink or STRM file'],
			],
		},
		{
			title: 'When you press play',
			nodes: [
				['Plex, Jellyfin, Emby', 'Read a byte range through rclone or a STRM URL'],
				['infinidysk', 'Finds the articles that hold that range'],
				['Usenet providers', 'Send only those articles, several at once'],
			],
		},
	]}
/>

## Why infinidysk

[Virtual filesystem](https://www.infinidysk.com/v1/features/webdav-filesystem/)
	[Stream and seek](https://www.infinidysk.com/v1/features/streaming-seeking/)
	[Arr compatible](https://www.infinidysk.com/v1/use-cases/infinite-library-arr/)
	[Multi-provider](https://www.infinidysk.com/v1/features/multi-provider/)
## Quick start

```bash
docker run --rm -it -p 3000:3000 ghcr.io/infinidysk/infinidysk:latest
```

Ephemeral trial: settings are discarded when the container exits.

```yaml
services:
  nzbdav:
    image: ghcr.io/infinidysk/infinidysk:latest
    container_name: nzbdav
    restart: unless-stopped
    ports:
      - "3000:3000"
    environment:
      PUID: "1000"
      PGID: "1000"
      TZ: Etc/UTC
    volumes:
      - ./config:/config
```

infinidysk is a supported core module in [Debrid Unlimited Media Bridge (DUMB)](https://dumbarr.com/). Enable infinidysk during DUMB onboarding for guided WebDAV and download-client wiring. Use DUMB's docs for its paths and ports.

[infinidysk on dumbarr.com](https://dumbarr.com/services/core/nzbdav/)

Then open `http://localhost:3000` (self-hosted) or your DUMB service URL, create your admin account if needed, and add a Usenet provider under Settings.

:::caution[Expose carefully]
Port `3000` is plain HTTP. Put infinidysk behind HTTPS for remote access. WebDAV uses Basic auth, so TLS matters. Prefer binding `127.0.0.1:3000:3000` when a reverse proxy runs on the host.
